Understanding the Five-Minute Restock Cycle

The shop inventory refreshes on a fixed five-minute timer. Every seed slot rerolls with a weighted random selection — Common flowers like Daisy and Sunflower appear frequently, while Legendary flowers like Cactus appear rarely. The restock happens globally for all players simultaneously, meaning if a Cactus appears in the shop, every player in the server sees it at the same time.

Use our shop restock timer to track the countdown to the next rotation. Open the timer in a browser tab while playing and check the shop immediately when the countdown hits zero. Speed matters for rare seeds — other players in popular servers may buy limited stock before you arrive.

What to Buy at Each Progression Stage

Early game ($10–$500): Buy the best available Uncommon or Rare seeds each restock. Prioritize Tulips ($200) and Bluebells ($350) over bulk Common purchases. One Tulip near the hive beats five Daisies anywhere. Follow the beginner's guide for foundational progression before implementing these restock tactics.

Mid game ($500–$2,500): Save cash for Epic-tier seeds like Morning Glory ($800) and Fire Blossom ($1,200). Skip Uncommon restocks unless you have spare money after saving for Epics. Check the flower tier list before every purchase to avoid wasting money on flowers you will shovel up later.

Rare Flower Hunting Tactics

Legendary seeds — especially Cactus at $2,500 — are the ultimate shop prize. The Cactus Bee they attract (18 m/s, 1,000 carry) is the best reliably obtainable bee in the game. When hunting Cactus, maintain a cash reserve of at least $2,500 at all times so you can buy immediately when one appears.

Check the shop at every restock during focused farming sessions. The most efficient routine: collect honey, sell, check shop, repeat. Combine this loop with the honey farming guide sell timing for a seamless cycle. During casual play, at minimum check the shop every five minutes using the restock timer notification.

If you play on a crowded server, consider switching to a less populated server before a restock when hunting Legendary seeds. Competition for rare stock is real in high-traffic lobbies. Teleport to the Buy button the instant the timer resets for the best chance.

Budget Management and Saving Priorities

Never spend your last dollar on Common seeds when you are within reach of a Rare or Epic purchase. Maintain a mental budget tier: keep $200 ready for Tulips, $800 for Morning Glory, $1,200 for Fire Blossom, and $2,500 for Cactus. Skip restocks that do not offer anything at or above your current savings tier.

After You Buy: Plant Immediately

A seed in your inventory earns zero honey. Plant every purchase immediately in the optimal position described in our flower placement guide. High-tier shop purchases always go in Zone 1 (closest to the hive). Shovel a weaker flower if no prime plots are available.

Apply Fairy Elixirs to expensive seeds to skip grow time and start earning honey faster. The return on a $2,500 Cactus seed justifies using your best elixir immediately. Restock Schedule Template

For players actively hunting rare seeds, follow this loop: set the restock timer, play normally until one minute before restock, teleport to the Buy button, wait for refresh, buy any Rare or above seed, return to farming. Repeat every five minutes during dedicated shop sessions. Outside shop sessions, check at least every other restock while doing normal honey collection.

Track which flowers you already own to avoid duplicate purchases. Use the bee album checklist to identify gaps in your collection. Focus shop spending on flowers that attract bees you do not yet have, or on upgrading existing plots with strictly better tiers.
